happy new year!

haven't updated much for a couple of reasons; cold winter, job relocation, I'm a bum, just enjoying life without the camera for a while and cleaning my house just in case

The Original pencil sketch for the art on my splash page by underground artist, King VelVeeda is about to sell... CHEEP, on ebay. It is on several sheets of 8.5" X 11" graph paper glued together to make one large (Approx. 12" X 23") piece. The finished piece was awarded to me as my prize for winning a "Nicest Shoes" contest on his website. This preliminary sketch was drawn -- in front of the TV -- on September Eleven, and the skyline in the window is NYC, sans WTC, as seen from Brooklyn. Though not visible on this scan, the sketch is signed and dated "King VelVeeda 9/11/2001."

dreamy halloween weekend! the magic starting as way back as Sxips awesome show on wednesday night. go see this man!
thursday night i got offered free tickets to see 'refer madness'. anyone go to this? anyone see 'bat boy'? anyone able to tell one from the other?
the free hijinks don't stop there- got a last moment notice to a .com launch party (um, what year is it?) for gay11. free entry, free food, free drinks, free entertainment. whoop!
then saturday I went to an old friends annual Halloween party. threw together a last moment betty crocker/housewife/june cleaver hybrid costume. Had a chill time with the likes of laura croft, a caveman dragging his chick, santa and Pac man (accompanied by some ghosts). heard tales the next day about pac man being chased by ghosts on the train then suddenly turning around to chase them.
but sunday, oh.. last night. beautiful sunday was the highlight. any memories of some less than spectacular prom back in 1992 have been wiped away. I experienced the most wonderful prom any young girl can wish for. first I had to get all made up, my gown and neck wound looked just divine. I knew the boys and girls would swoon when they saw me. my date, who's head injury was a perfect matching accessory, and I headed to the *doom doom doom* Horror prom!!! *squeel*
the yellow checkered limo dropped us off at Pier 63 where the haunted boat awaited us. creaky rooms, hanging dolls, rusted walls. spooky! Vulgaras put on a hell of a show and AND Joe Coleman was there and told me I looked beautiful. sigh. dreamy!
